Divyaa's path through SIP was anything but a straight line. She explored more comfortable ballet shoes, then less painful mammograms, reaching out to experts who never wrote back, then the environmental cost of AI. Each time, she learned something and moved on, until she landed on Nailed It: eco-friendly press-on nails made from a bioplastic she developed herself. She tested them on real people, who liked them and found they stayed on. Along the way, the student who calls herself a former introvert learned to take risks without being rattled by failure.
In this episode, Divyaa talks about how rejection therapy changed her, why each pivot felt exciting instead of scary, where her ideas come from, and balancing her project with sports and school.
Her advice: "Changing directions isn't giving up."
